Tailor Made Trainings

November 30, 1999

For Child Care Center Staff and Administrators

In-Service Courses and Individualized Training Program-Both are EIP fundable!

In-Service Courses:(ISC)
The Director of a Center and the In-Service Coordinator of the Child Care Council, Inc. plan what courses are needed, what will be the exact content of the courses and when the courses will be presented. These In-Service Courses can be presented in the evening after the Center is closed or during the day with proper coverage. You can schedule one In-Service Course, a few, or plan your training schedule for the entire year.

Individualized Training Program:(ITP)
This training program is for individual child care center and School Age staff and/or teaching teams within the same classroom who need training in specific areas. An Education Consultant from the Child Care Council, Inc. works directly with a teacher on a one-to-one basis in the room during the day with the children. The ITP program can be scheduled for a minimum of ten hours and a maximum of thirty hours within one calendar year.

For more information about either of these programs please call the Education Department at (585)654-4720.
