Business Leaders Work Group

Are today’s children prepared to become tomorrow’s business leaders?

They need to be, for the sake of the economy in the Finger Lakes region. High-quality child care and early education play vital roles in ensuring our young people are prepared for the global economy.

Child Care Council recently launched a critical effort to enhance early education and child care in the region and to create ways to sustain the child care industry as a valuable, competitive resource. The Council launched this initiative in 2014 by holding the first Business Leaders Summit. As shown in the video below, summit keynote speaker Bill Millett delivered a powerful message about the importance of early care and education to many of the region’s business and civic leaders.
