Lead Teacher, Teacher Assistant

Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and social skills development Support children’s individual needs by working with students with disabilities, autism, or developmental delays, ensuring inclusive classroom practices Help manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management strategies Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development and curiosity Use communication skills such as American Sign Language when necessary to facilitate understanding for students with hearing impairments or communication challenges Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment by supporting classroom management and childcare routines Assist in preparing educational materials, setting up learning stations, and documenting student progress for IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings Skills Experience working with children in preschool or early childhood education settings, including Montessori or private school environments Knowledge of childhood development principles and curriculum development techniques Familiarity with special education practices, including working with students with disabilities or autism and implementing IEP goals Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and specialists Classroom management skills to foster a positive learning atmosphere and handle behavioral issues proactively Proficiency in literacy education, math instruction, and lesson planning tailored to diverse learners Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism using evidence-based strategies such as behavior management techniques Join us as a Teacher Assistant and be part of an inspiring team committed to nurturing young minds.
