Child Care Training Professional Development
We offer in-person individual and series classes, individual and group training at child care sites, and the Child Development Associate program (CDA).
Courses are taught at Child Care Council offices or at your site for Child Care Centers. We offer childcare training courses with certificates that include all of the content areas that professionals need to maintain their NYS childcare license or registration. Child Care Council offices are located in Livingston, Monroe, and Wayne Counties. We also offer online and live format courses.
Child Care Course Information
For series classes such as Health & Safety, First Aid & CPR, or CDA, only the first night of class will be displayed on the calendar. Please review the class notes to see all dates and times and only sign up for a series if you are able to attend all sessions.
Successful online registration will generate a system email to you. The email will include details about the class, including the class fee, and a link to pay the fee online through our website.

Apply for a Start Bright Scholarship
The Start Bright Scholarship funds are intended to support enrolled, registered, or licensed child care providers or staff approved in a registered or licensed child care setting to increase their knowledge and experience through our professional development opportunities.
This scholarship is intended for individuals currently working in a registered or licensed child care program and may not qualify for the EIP or CSEA funding available. Applicants must meet the income requirements and provide documentation of employment. Learn more and apply below.
Other Payment Information
Contact the Education Department to learn more about EIP, CSEA, scholarships, or to make a payment arrangement. Class payments can be made through our website or over the phone using a credit card, or by cash, check, or money order.
