Professional Development

We offer in-person individual and series classes, online classes, individual and group training at child care sites, and the Child Development Associate program (CDA). All of our individual courses are listed in the Courses by Category tab.

Courses are taught at Child Care Council offices or at your site for Child Care Centers. Our courses include all of the training content areas that professionals need to maintain their NYS child care license or registration.

Child Care Council offices are located in Livingston, Monroe, and Wayne counties. We also offer SUNY Videoconference training for Child Care Providers. Information and registration is available via the SUNY videoconference link.

We are delighted to now offer self-paced, online training courses, in addition to our in-person professional development classes. These online classes are available to individuals residing within zip codes in Monroe, Livingston, Wayne, Genesee and Orleans counties.
