Full-Time Preschool / Float Teacher

TLC Adventures in Child Care is looking for a caring and dependable Full-Time Preschool / Float Teacher to join our team!

This position supports and co-teaches preschool classrooms and floats throughout the center as needed to maintain ratios and assist staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Support preschool teachers with daily activities and curriculum
  • Float between classrooms to provide coverage and maintain NYS ratios
  • Supervise children to ensure a safe, nurturing environment
  • Assist with meals, toileting, rest time, and transitions
  • Engage children in play-based learning and social-emotional development
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Early Childhood experience or coursework preferred
  • Ability to meet NYS OCFS requirements and required trainings
  • Reliable, flexible, and a team player

Schedule:

  • Full-Time, Monday–Friday (option for 4 day work week)
