Overview
Faith Child Care and Nursery School, a Christian school, is seeking professional, reliable, caring people who are passionate about working with young children. We are an early learning/care program for children from 8 weeks – 12 years of age. For 40 years, we have provided children with full day high quality, developmentally appropriate programs based on New York State standards. Our hours are 7:00 – 5:30, Monday through Friday.

Candidates should possess a passion for nurturing young minds and creating a stimulating environment for children’s growth and the following qualifications:
• Ability to reliably work M-F as scheduled
• At least 18 years old
• At least one year’s experience working with children less than 13 years of age
• Teaching God’s word through stories, songs, and special moments
• Assisting lead teacher in caring for children
• Supervise playtime, meals, naps and activities
• Enjoy working with different age groups and can adapt easily to their needs
• Cultivate a positive relationship with parents to provide the best care and education for their children
• Physical stamina and ability to regularly lift or carry a child
• Access to reliable transportation to reach our Penfield location
• Ability to start work within 2 weeks of offer and acceptance of position
All candidates will be required to complete a sworn statement indicating whether they have been convicted of a misdemeanor or felony. Cleared through the NYS Central Registry regarding any history of child abuse or neglect, provide proof of a current physical, be fingerprinted and have at least two reference checks.
