The Wolk Children’s Center at the JCC believes that children grow best with exploration, discovery, and play. We provide a supportive and caring environment to celebrate each child’s uniqueness and build empathy for others. The Wolk Center offers a safe and nurturing environment that understands children are constructivist learners and learn by play and social interaction with their friends. At present, we have 14 classrooms open and are hoping to open more classrooms soon to accommodate our growing waiting list.
If you are seeking a part time opportunity as an Assistant Teacher in a highly respected Early Learning Center, we would love to hear from you! Previous experience working with children in a classroom setting strongly preferred. A Child Development Associate Certificate (CDA) is also preferred.
Part-time shifts available Monday through Friday: must be able to work at least three days per week over the lunch hour

$15.00 – $15.75 per hour, depending on experience and credentials

The Louis S. Wolk Jewish Community Center of Greater Rochester is located alongside the Erie Canal in Brighton and is a 200,000 square foot facility that offers our membership a state-of-the-art fitness center, wellness and recreation programming, an aquatics center with three swimming pools, a professional theatre with multiple productions throughout the year, the Wolk Children’s Center, before and after school care, and a summer camp program.
