PromiseLand childcare is currently seeking a professional, loving, devoted and caring full-time childcare lead teacher. An ideal candidate will be outgoing, embrace the philosophy of the center, be enthusiastic, kind, able to multitask, demonstrate patience and understanding. Our teachers must be able to manage various children’s schedules, meet the needs and help children reach developmental milestones.
Responsibilities:
-Supervise and interact with children in a safe and compassionate manner.
-Implement creative activities to assist with child development.
-Create and maintain a positive and nurturing environment for children.
-Perform a variety of tasks, such as feeding, lifting/carrying children, providing opportunities for indoor and outdoor exploration, and overseeing play.
-Maintain a clean classroom and other areas where children play.
-Follow and implement the direction and vision of the childcare director for the families of PromiseLand.
Qualifications:
-Previous experience with childcare or other related fields.
-CDA or Degree in Early childhood education or related field required.
-Passionate about working with children ages birth – 5 years.
-Ability to build rapport with children and their parents.
-Positive and patient demeanor.
-Reliable transportation.
