    Instructor: Jennifer Shook This course will instruct participants on how to add literacy to their child care programs by participating in an author study. We will explore various children’s book authors and popular children’s books. Many examples of activities will be given for providers to take back and experience with their children.

Enhanced Child Care Referral Benefit-Child Care Council, Inc. works and contracts with employers to develop a child care resource and referral benefit for its employees. This enhanced benefit offers employees a team of professional Referral Specialists to assist with their search for care. The specialist maintains ongoing communication throughout the child care search in such areas as:

  • Consumer education on child care options and early care and education
  • Personalized child care referral search for licensed and registered programs
  • Verified openings
  • Detailed profiles of child care options

Additional resources for employers: Current statistical data on child care, benefit information table for employee fairs or other work related activities, workshops and
seminars at company location and times convenient to employees.
