Food Program

The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) is a federally funded Child Nutrition Program, which offers a monthly reimbursement to License Exempt, Family, and Group Providers for serving nutritious meals and snacks to the children in their care.

Joining the CACFP allows you to earn extra money for something you are already doing – feeding the children in your care. CACFP is available to all Legally Exempt, Family Child Care, and Group Family Child Care Providers who care for at least 1 non-resident child.

All you have to do is record your menu and attendance each day, send it to us at the end of each month, and receive a reimbursement check 10 days later.

With the advancement of technology, participating in CACFP through the Child Care Council, Inc. is easy. The record keeping program we use, Minute Menu, is now available on-line.

WebKids, an internet-based CACFP record keeping system, allows you to enroll new children, record daily menus and attendance, and submit your monthly claim to us by simply clicking your mouse. You can also monitor when your claim is processed, how much your reimbursement will be, and print a tax report at the end of each year, right in the comfort of your own home.

In addition, Child Care Council also offers Direct Deposit for CACFP reimbursement.
