This class is presented for those who may be interested in starting a Family or Group Family Child Care business in their own homes. We will discuss all the steps required to obtain a NYS Child Care Registration/License, review the child care application, and discuss how to prepare your family and home for this new business venture.

In order to meet the requirements for the Emergency Medication Waiver, the registered nurses are offering this training. These sessions will provide preparation for recognition and emergency response by the child’s caregivers. The focus will be hands-on training and scenarios to ensure that providers are able to competently manage asthma attacks and severe allergic reactions in their programs.
