This training is designed to define equity, trauma and racism and the effects they have on a child’s mental health. The training will identify the definitions of equity vs equality, which provides an opportunity to increase the capacity of teachers and parents to effectively and knowledgably address and support children who have experienced trauma due to the equity disparities in our society and in child care.
