View Our Training Courses

We offer individual classes, series classes, technical assistance, professional development consultation, and the Child Development Associate Program (CDA). All of our classes include Continuing Education Units-CEU’s.

Courses are taught at Child Care Council offices or at your site for Child Care Centers. Our Course Calendar includes all of the child care training content areas that professionals need to maintain their NYS child care license or registration. Our staff can help you to determine what classes you need, and walk you through the registration process. We can also direct you to any additional requirements for your type of program and inform you of any financial assistance that may be available.

See our professional development section for current courses.

If you would like to request a training topic or would like technical assistance at your program, please call the Education Department at 585-654-4720.

Child Care Council offices are located in Livingston, Monroe, and Wayne counties.

Go to OCFS approved distance learning courses to choose courses that are right for you. Additional distance learning courses and organizations will be added to the site as determinations are made.
