Float Staff

Expressive Beginnings is seeking a warm and caring person who is passionate about working with young children and possesses the ability to facilitate learning through play and child initiated interests.

Description of Responsibilities:

– Support children of all ages in multiple classrooms.
– Keep the classroom in compliance with all NY state regulations.
– Maintain required documentation as required.
– Supervise and engage in child directed play and activities.
– Teach proper health care in regards to toileting, nutrition, dental, physical care and cleaning of the children if necessary.
– Maintain the ordered arrangement, appearance, décor, and learning environment of the classroom.
– Communicate with teachers and parents regarding information concerning their child and their daily activities of the center, and inform the Director of any parent concerns.
– Attend staff meetings, trainings, and conferences
